Natalie Norris Claxton

Natalie Claxton entered into rest on Monday, December 3, 2012.

Natalie was born on June 3, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois. She was raised in Meansville, Georgia before moving to Warner Robins. She graduated from the University Of Georgia Terry College Of Business. Natalie went on to become owner and operator of Manor Pharmacy. She donated much of her time to many organizations in the community including: The Chamber of Commerce, where she served as a Director and was awarded the Charles L. Jones Memorial Award (highest award given by The Chamber of Commerce), Civitan International Medallion for more than twenty-five years, she was a Charter and Life Member Bronze Eagle of the Robins Air Force Base Museum of Aviation Foundation, Robins Air Force Base Military Affairs Committee, University of Georgia Alumni Association, Delta Delta Delta (Tri-Delta) Sorority, and Magnolia Southern Ladies Circle. Natalie was also a long-standing member of First United Methodist Church in Warner Robins. Her parents, Frank Nepp and Katherine Ferguson Nepp Andrews; and first husband, William Norris, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of twenty-six years, Lee Roy Claxton, Warner Robins; children, Brent and Donna Norris, both of Warner Robins, and Bonnie Torras (Brian), Mableton, Georgia; two grandchildren, Austin and Katie Torras; stepchildren, Em Barton (Joe) and Kip Claxton (Gayle); step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; sister, Kathy Dangar (Hoyt), McDonough; and family friends, Tim and Janet Bollinger.

Family would like to acknowledge caregivers, Lamar Ingram, Lesia Ingram, Cherri Middlebrooks, Tamekia Barksdale, Ieshia Johnson, Felisha Hudson, Kathy King, Kicea Bently, and Tammy Harrell.

Visitation will be Wednesday, December 5, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at First United Methodist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
