Nell D. Fordham

Nell Fordham, 76, entered into rest on Friday, April 13, 2012.

Nell was born on February 10, 1936 in Emanuel County, Georgia. She retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church and served as the church secretary. As an accomplished poet Nell received several awards.

Her parents, Earl and Nannie Duckworth; son, John Fordham and sisters, Kathlyn Bullock, Vivian Farmer and Evelyn Collins preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of forty seven years, Alton Fordham; daughters, Debbie Kerr (Jimmie) and Donna Jarvis; grandchildren, Bucky Kerr (Erica), Jason Kerr (Brooke), Tawney Jarvis and Mytchell Jarvis; great grandchildren, Savannah Kerr, Layla Kerr and Hayden Tucker; sisters, Sandra McLemore (James), Emory Duckworth (Glenda) and Bernard Duckworth (Yvonne).

Visitation will be Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2012 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, with the Reverend Jimmy Rozier officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
