Nelson Benjamin Brady

Nelson Benjamin Brady, 81, entered into rest on Monday, January 7, 2013.

Mr. Brady was born on July 10, 1931 in Mauk, Georgia to the late John M. Brady and Ruth Mitchell Brady. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Brady was a devoted member of First Baptist Church Centerville and was a member of the Sutherlin Sunday School Class. He was also a Mason and member of the Centerville Senior Citizens Club. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brady was preceded in death by sisters, Evelyn Rustin, Hazel Welch, Neva Watson, and Thelma Davis.

His memory will forever be treasured by his devoted wife of fifty-five years, Doris Martin Brady, Warner Robins; loving sons, Dr. Michael Brady, Warner Robins, Keith Brady, Macon, and Darrin Brady, Woodstock, Georgia; grandchildren, Kristen, Heather, and Ben Brady, all of Byron, and Sydney Brady, Macon; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. The family will accept flowers, or memorials may be given to First Baptist Church Centerville, 108 Church St, Centerville GA 31028 or to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Dr, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
