Nicole Anne Puterbaugh

On the afternoon of Saturday, November 5, 2022, Nicole Anne Puterbaugh, 16, slipped away unexpectedly after a short battle with cancer.

Nicole was born on January 25, 2006, in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Thomas and Theresa Puterbaugh. A junior at Houston County High School, she was active in the Air Force Junior ROTC program and always put 100% effort into everything she did. Nicole was fearless and remained positive through her diagnosis. She especially loved fashion, traveling, and the feeling of the warm sun shining on her beautiful face. Employed by Houston Lake Cinemas, Nicole had many close friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Mary Steuri.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her parents; her brother, Justin Puterbaugh of Kathleen; her paternal grandfather, James Steuri of Napoleon, Indiana; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Friday; her uncles Jason Friday (Melissa Goodrich), and Matthew Friday all of Cheboygan, Michigan; her aunt, Marlene Downey (James) of Holton, Indiana; and a host of other loving family members and friends.

Visitation with Nicole’s family will be Wednesday, November 9, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The funeral service celebrating her life will immediately follow at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.  For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.
