Noi Sullivan, 79, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2023.
Mrs. Sullivan was born on December 11, 1943, in Lampong, Thailand to the late Noi Kae and Nung Kum Chaiyai. As a military spouse, she lived several places before settling in central Georgia in the early 1980s. She worked at the Robins Air Force Base Commissary for more than thirty years, beginning as a bagger and working several different positions through the years with the most rewarding being in the meat department.
Mrs. Sullivan was a very private person, but she deeply loved those whom she allowed into her circle. She enjoyed spending time with her second family from work and loved them tremendously. She spoke love through food and made sure that no one was ever hungry. During peak security in the aftermath of 9/11, Mrs. Sullivan fed hundreds of gate security guards, bringing them homemade meals on her way to work. She was an amazing cook, and she graciously refused recognition for her generosity.
Mrs. Sullivan immensely adored her granddog, Little Brown Dog, and the time they spent together was full of welcomed overindulgences, conversations, and turkey. Lots of turkey.
She was preceded in death by parents; her husband, Thomas E. Sullivan; her sister, Lumdup Chaiyai; her brother, Prasong Chaiyai; and her granddog, Little Brown Dog.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Kim Sullivan and Kelly Sullivan (Stephen D. Givens), both of Warner Robins; her granddaughter, Olivia Givens; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
A celebration of Mrs. Sullivan’s life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at The Farmhouse at McCullough Funeral Home. Dress will be casual.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Noi Sullivan to Humane Society of Houston County (www.humanesocietyhoco.org/product/donation) or Meals on Wheels (www.hocomow.org).
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
