Nola Mae Jones

Nola Mae Jones, 61, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

Nola was born on November 4, 1961, in Macon, Georgia to the late Roy and Dorothy Peavy. Nola had a servant’s heart and was called to serve as a nurse in both Macon and Warner Robins areas, holding a registered nurse’s license for 40 years. When she wasn’t taking care of her patients, she could be found playing with her fur babies, Gabby and Bella, gardening, quilting, or cruising. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

In addition to her parents, Nola was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Jones.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Wesley Jones (Miranda) of Macon; granddaughter, Hosanna Jones; siblings, Lynn Jones (Chuck) of Lizella, Roy Peavy of Forsyth, Ricky Peavy of Forsyth, and Bobby Rutherford (Sue) of Cochran; brother-in-law, Kenny Jones (Bonnie); nieces and nephews, Heather, Chris, Brian, and Jordan; great nephews, Jaxon and Colton; along with many other loving family members and cherished friends.

Visitation will be Monday, September 18, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Nola will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
