On Monday, April 11, 2016, Norma Lane passed away at Warner Robins Rehab and Nursing Center. She was 82 years old.
Born in Paducah, Kentucky, Norma was the only daughter of the late Earl and Cora Wilkins Peeples. She retired after many years of customer service with the BX (Base Exchange) on Robins Air Force Base. This was the perfect occupation for Norma as she loved people and enjoyed the many friends she met through the years while working there. A doting grandmother, caring mother-in-law, and fun-loving cousin and friend, Norma will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter and son, Beverly and Gary Lane.
Norma leaves her memory behind with her loving grandchildren, Jacob Lane of Savannah, and Alexis, Joshua and Nicholas Lane, all of Warner Robins; daughter-in-law, Candy Lane of Warner Robins; and cousins, Patti Hamons and Paul Ed Anderson, both of Paducah, Kentucky.
Visitation will be Friday, April 15th from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 16th in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Norma will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
