Bonaire – Norman L. Bartlett, 78, entered into rest on Friday, December 14, 2009.
Mr. Bartlett was born on October 24, 1931, in Charlevoix, Michigan. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force and was also in the Korean conflict. Mr. Bartlett retired as a technical sergeant and subsequently, he went to work as a civil servant as an electrician at Robins Air Force Base from where he also retired. One of his favorite past times was to build model airplanes. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Freda Belle Bartlett, parents, Clarence Bartlett and Sadie Halverson Bartlett.
His memory will forever be treasured by his sons, Robert L. Bartlett, Mesa, Arizona and David A. Bartlett, Gilbert, Arizona; three loving grand children; and a brother Robert M. Bartlett, Charlevoix, Michigan.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 16, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to American Heart Association, 3312 North side Drive, Suite 140 A, Macon, Georgia 31210.
