Ollie Lee Benningfield Gainous

Ollie Lee Benningfield Gainous, formerly of Warner Robins, 85, entered into rest Monday, July 12, 2010.

Mrs. Gainous was born on November 7, 1924 in Enterprise, Alabama. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Ollie retired from Robins Air Force Base where she worked for many years in civil service as an administrative assistant. Her husband, Perry Lee Gainous; son, James Perry Gainous; and her parents, James Corbett Benningfield and Bertha Mae Dollar Benningfield, all preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her siblings and their spouses, Jack and Lillian Benningfield,; Betty and Del Bordeau, all of Abbeville; two grandchildren, Lee and Kenneth Gainous; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with the Reverends Tony Dixon and Hal Dickson officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
