Onnie Ruth Fetters

Ruth Fetters joined her beloved husband, Kenneth Fetters, in Heaven, on the afternoon of Sunday, January 31, 2021. She was 80 years old.

Ruth was born in Dooly County, Georgia, on September 7, 1940, to the late Clyne and Verna Thompson. She was a career homemaker who dearly loved her family and was forever doting on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ruth was a faithful and dedicated member of Green Acres Baptist Church and set a wonderful example to her family. For fun, she enjoyed ceramics and fellowshipping with all of the people in her ceramics class. Family trips and spending time with her family were also things that brought her great joy.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Linda Frank (Hank) of The Rock, Donna Fandry of Fort Valley and Robert Fetters (Alana) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Lucas Estrello (Anissa), Jessica Jacobs (Frank), Jason Fandry, Joshua Fetters (Kaelie) and Haley McLeod (Stephen); 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Evelyn Ellis of Warner Robins; and son-in-law, Doug Fandry of Kathleen.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 2, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A private graveside funeral service for the family will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, in Magnolia Park Mausoleum with Reverend Micah Emery officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Ruth to the Green Acres Baptist Church Building Fund, 901 Elberta Rd., Warner Robins, GA 31093.
