Ophelia Pruett, 87, entered into Heaven on Friday, March 25, 2016.
Ophelia was born on May 11, 1928 in Adrian, Georgia. She was a resident of Kathleen, Georgia and later in life Adrian, Georgia, where she was a member of Adrian Baptist Church. Ophelia had a love for flowers; she began her floral career at Forget-Me-Not Florist, before becoming owner and operator of Kathleen Florist for many years. Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Clayton Pruett (Julie) of Florida; Eddie Pruett (Jim Hutto) of Macon; Allen Eric Pruett (Carissa) of Buena Park, California; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Ada Pruett of Adrian, Georgia; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with Ophelia's family will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in Magnolia Park Cemetery where Ophelia will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband, the late Allen Pruett.
