Oskar L. "Rick" Schubert

Rick Schubert, 75, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2005. Graveside funeral services with full military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, at Andersonville National Cemetery with interment following. Visitation will be 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Schubert was born January 3, 1930 in Miami, Florida to the late Mary Elizabeth and Oskar L. Schubert, Sr. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps where he obtained the rank of Corporal and he also served in the United States Navy. Mr. Schubert also retired as a project manager from James A. Cummings Construction, Inc.

Survivors include, loving and devoted wife, Marjorie R. Schubert, Orlando, Florida; daughter, Yvonne Savage, Warner Robins; son, Rick Schubert, Atlanta; grandson, Victor Savage, Warner Robins; granddaughter, Brandi Mauney, Covington; and granddaughter, Rhonda Steinberg, Valdosta.
