Otis Medley

Otis Medley, 82 entered into rest on, Saturday, October 15, 2011.

Mr. Medley was born on August 13, 1929 in Chesterfield, South Carolina. A retired Staff Sargent with the United States Air Force and Owner of Midway Body Shop, he was also a Mason for twenty-eight years, a member of Tyrian Lodge No. 111 in Warner Robins, past Master of Jeffersonville Lodge No. 133 in Jeffersonville, and an Honorary Past Master of Middle Georgia Lodge No 756 in Bonaire. A member of the Macon Scottish and York Rite, Carl F. Lester Council of Knight Mason, Middle Georgia York Rite College, New Covenant Conclave Red Cross of Constantine, and Al Sihah Shrine Temple, he achieved the Knight Commander Court of Honor, Knight York Cross of Honor, Order of High Priesthood, Order of Silver Trowel and Knights Crusader of the Cross for his service to Freemasonry. He also enjoyed working eye cases for York Rite Eye Foundation and the York Cross of Honor was awarded for this most worthy endeavor. His parents, Orien and Ethel Medley preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Jeanette Medley; children, Carol Griffin, Bonnie Louise Wagstaff (Phillip) and Wanda K. McKinley (Jimmy); grandchildren, Amy McKinzie (David), Amber Suarez (Chuco) and Jennifer Simpson (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Gavin Suarez, Antonio Suarez, Sofia Suarez, Zayna Suarez and Kaydence Simpson; siblings, Louise Roseman, Cecil Medley, Inez Park, Billy Medley, Wayne Medley and Gene Medley.

Visitation will be Monday, October 17, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
