Otto “Toby” Jenson, Jr., passed away Saturday, May 22, 2021, at his residence with his loving family members by his side.
Toby “Baba” was a very easy going man who loved his family and friends and never held a grudge. He had a passion for sports, but golf was his first love, even once hitting a hole in one which was a highlight for him. Lorraine and Toby traveled around the world together after getting married in August of 1952. They had been married for nearly 70 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otto Jenson Sr.; his mother, Laura Manila Jenson; and his younger brothers, Carl Jenson and Norman Jenson.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine Jenson; his two children: Joe Barnett (Doris Ann) and Gary Jenson (Angela), his grandchildren: Lori Katzell (Rich), Ashley Richey (Troy), Jon-Michael Jenson (Tonya), Jennifer Ferguson (DiJai), Brett Jenson (Payton), Brandon Jenson (Lindy); and his great grandchildren, Micah, Hunter, Katie, Blake, Austin, Taylor, Isaiah, Kayden, Colt, Corbin, and Josephine.
The family would also like to give their thanks to AMEDISYS Hospice for the love and care they provided to ease him and his family through his passing.
Visitation with Toby’s family will be Wednesday, May 26, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. The funeral service celebrating his life will be held immediately following 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Andrew Howe officiating. A private inurnment will be held at Andersonville National Cemetery.
