Pamela Diane Gibson

Early on the morning of Saturday, March 8, 2025, Pamela Diane Gibson, 73, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, entered into eternal rest.

Born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia, Pamela graduated from Warner Robins High School and went on to work in the food service industry, where she made lasting connections while working at Sambo's and Jimbo's. Later, she transitioned to billing at Cox Communications before returning to her love of waitressing at Ole Times, where she worked until her well-earned retirement.

A passionate Georgia Bulldogs fan, Pamela could often be found cheering on her team with her faithful dog, P.J., by her side. She had a love for sports, soap operas, especially "The Young and the Restless", and never missed an episode of "The Price Is Right."

Pamela loved to have fun, laugh, and make memories with those she loved most. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she was a wonderful mother who always put her family first. Her warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sadie Phillips Swain and brother, James Swain.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Katrina Pike (Lemuel), Melissa Taylor (Donnie) and Joseph Gibson, Jr. (Lauren); grandchildren, Skylar Ables, Ansley Ables, Jason Ables, Jr., Alice Gibson, Abigail Gibson, and Dean Gibson; and eight great grandchildren.

A service celebrating her life will be held at a later date.
