Pamela “Pam” J. Palestri McCoy, 74, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 11, 2025.
Pam was born on July 12, 1950, in Waterbury, Connecticut. A woman of quiet strength, sharp wit, and unparalleled craftiness, left behind a legacy of love and laughter. An introvert by nature, Pam had an extraordinary ability to make everyone feel seen and heard. She had a fierce love for politics, a passion she pursued with fervor and insight. She could engage in a debate with anyone, armed with knowledge and a sense of humor that made even the most serious discussions feel lighthearted.
Pam’s dedication to her education never wavered, even as she balanced the demands of family life. With determination, she earned her bachelor’s degree and went on to build a successful career in accounting - a skill that not only shaped her profession but also made her a master of managing her own finances. Despite her busy schedule, Pam’s greatest priority was always her children. She was never too busy to listen, always ready with an open heart and wise words whenever they needed her.
Rest in peace, Pam. Your work here is done, but the warmth you gave will continue to inspire those who were lucky enough to know you.
