Patricia Ann Sowash

Patricia Ann Sowash was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 6, 2022 in Macon. She was 79 years old.

A doting mother and grandmother, Patricia was adored by all of those she came in contact with. She made an impact on many, many people. Patricia was a prayer warrior who believed in the power of prayer and would pray for anyone at any time. An avid crafter, she enjoyed making things in her free time. She was one of those rare people who took care of everyone, including animals. Most of all, though, Patricia was happiest when she was surrounded by her loving family. Her children and grandchildren were her world.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Gilbert Roland “Hank” Sowash; parents, William Lovett Edwards and Jessie Stapleton Edwards as well as her brothers and sisters.

Left to treasure the memory of their matriarch are her children, Tanya Sowash of Macon and Tammy Sowash Daniel (Michael) of Byron; grandchildren, Rebekah, Rachel, and Luke Daniel; and sisters, Faye Allred and Brenda Jones.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022 at McCullough Funeral Home. Her services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2022 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
