Patricia Cevick Geercken passed away peacefully at home on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 18, 2018. She was 79.
Patricia was born the daughter of the late Steven and Sally Cevick in Buffalo, New York on Christmas Eve 1938. She was of the Catholic faith. A bank teller for many years, Patricia retired from M&T Bank in Delevan, New York and eventually moved with her husband, Harold, to Warner Robins. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and being in the yard. She and Harold enjoyed traveling to Buffalo, New York and into Canada to attend German and Ukrainian dancing functions whenever they had the opportunity. The two of them shared a passion for the more traditional ethnic music. Patricia had a spunky and sharp-witted personality, always having a sarcastic humor about her. She lived life on her terms up until the very end.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold M. Geercken; and her granddaughter, Stacy Geercken.
Patricia’s memory will always be treasured by her loving children, Darlene Geercken (Randy Blair), Craig Geercken (Sandy), and Lori Sullivan (Patrick); grandchildren, Chelsie Mantelli, Eric Geercken, Kirstyn Geercken, Jeremy Sullivan, and Kayleigh Knight; great-grandchildren, Rylyn, Connor, Kinsley, Chrissy, and CJ Sullivan, Raylan Mantelli, Ella Geercken, and Millie Knight; and sister, Sheryl Weatherbee (Edward).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Patricia to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org.
