A Warner Robins native, Patricia Linda “Pat” Brown Pope, 74, entered into rest on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, James W. and Margaret C. Brown; and her sister, Shirley Atkins.
Pat married John David Pope, Jr. and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed making their house a home. Pat watched NASCAR, and her son, Charlie stock-car race on Saturday nights. A doting grandmother, she was her grandchildren’s biggest fan. Pat delighted in watching her grandson, Kenny race and play football and was equally passionate about her granddaughter, Amanda’s pageants and dance performances. With a heart full of gold, she was always ready to help others. Her big, beautiful smile that would light up any room will be forever missed.
In addition to her husband, John David Pope, Jr., Pat is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles W. Hall and Peggy S. Hall; grandchildren, Amanda S. Hall and Charles Kenneth Hall; as well as siblings, Charles Carter and James W. Brown, Jr.
A graveside service honoring Patricia’s life and legacy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 23, 2022, in Magnolia Park Cemetery with Reverend Marty Watson officiating.
