Patricia Lynn Riner

Patricia Lynn Riner of Byron passed away on June 28, 2021. She was 76 years old.

Born on January 4, 1945, in Michigan, Patricia was the daughter of the late Harold Vincent Fitzpatrick and Phyllis Jean Garber Fitzpatrick. She spent many years as a hairdresser and then worked in retail at Walmart. She also worked at Shirley Hills Elementary School as a school crossing guard. She was a devoted attendee of ceramic classes at the Warner Robins Senior Center and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Patricia was an avid bowler who bowled every week and also liked attending softball games. Most of all, Patricia was known as a person who would give the clothes off of her back to help anyone. She was the consummate cheerleader and eternal optimist. She loved her friends and family with all of her heart.

Those left to cherish Patricia’s memory are her children, Gary Nepveux (Hollie), David Riner, and Lori Collins (Bobby); grandchildren, Summer Southerland (Mitchell), Heartly Nepveux, Chloe Nepveux, Corey Collins (Shelonda), Courtney Collins (Adam), and Tiffany Leach; great grandchildren, Everly, Anton, Kamille, and Kennon; siblings, Mike Fitzpatrick (Ruthann), Steve Fitzpatrick (Colleen), and John Fitzpatrick (Margie) and five nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Patricia will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at McCullough Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2021, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. She will be buried next to her late mother at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Pastor Morgan Kerr will officiate.
