Patricia went home to be with our Lord on August 23, 2021 after a battle with Follicular Lymphoma.
Pat was born in Woodlake, Texas to the late Mrs. Ila Rebecca Cannon on March 13, 1935. She grew up in Dawson, Texas where she met her husband Eldon at 16 and married him a year later when she was 17. They moved to Waco, Texas and had three children.
In the mid 1960’s, Pat and family moved to Rancho Cordova, California. She worked for 16 years as a Teller for Bank of America at Mather AFB, California. She was a Sunday school teacher and served in the choir at First Baptist Church of Rancho Cordova for many years. After retiring in the mid 1980’s, she and her husband, Eldon, took a recreational vehicle all over the United States for several years.
In 1996, Pat and Eldon sold everything they had and moved to Bonaire, Georgia to be closer to their daughters and grandchildren. Pat was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church and the choir, and loved her church family. She enjoyed her Senior Ceramic’s Class in Warner Robins and loved her many friends she made there.
Pat had a great sense of humor and an even better laugh. She loved her family deeply and her presence will be greatly missed. Pat was preceded in death by her son, Curtis Wayne Bridges.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Eldon; daughters, Brenda Walraven (Les) and Linda Damnjanovic (Milan); grandchildren, Jason Walraven (Beth), Julie Kuykendall (Matthew), Stephen Damnjanovic, Drew Damnjanovic, Serena Damnjanovic and Bryce Damnjanovic; and great-grandchildren, Luke Walraven, Nicholas Walraven, Jackson Walraven, Aidan Walraven, Avery Kuykendall, Anna Kuykendall and Ethan Kuykendall. She was also very fond of her kitty, Molly.
