Patricia "Pat" VanBuren, 63, entered into rest on Thursday, April 17, 2008.
Mrs. VanBuren was born on August 26, 1944 in Brooklyn, New York. In 1958, she moved to Rhinebeck, New York, where she graduated from high school in 1963. Later, she moved to Florida, and then California, where she met and married her husband, Ray VanBuren. They made their home in Georgia in the 1980's. For a time, Pat worked as a receptionist for The Telegraph. In 2001, she was invited to join the Board of Directors of Rebuilding Together where her contributions have been invaluable. She was the current Food Chairperson for Rebuilding Together national workday. Pat was also active in the Women of the Moose Club. Her parents, Joseph and Helen McNulty, preceded her in death.
Her memory will be forever treasured by her husband, Raymond VanBuren, Warner Robins; brother, Thomas McNulty, Accord, New York; sister, Eileen Enkler, Oneonta, New York; nephews, Thomas and James McNulty and James and John Enkler; niece, Jennifer Lauerman and her many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 21, 2008 at McCullough Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be private. Memorial donations can be made to Rebuilding Together, P. O. Box 8664, Warner Robins, GA 31095 or the Warner Robins Moose Club, 400 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
