Paul B. Munt, Jr., 59, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2006. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 22, 2006, in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
Mr. Munt was born on March 11, 1947 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. A retired veteran of the United States Air Force, Mr. Munt served during the Vietnam Era. While enlisted, he worked in radio and television services in various overseas locations. He was a member of American Legion Post 172. He was an independent contractor for Schneider Truck Lines based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Additionally, he was a previous news director for local WDEN news radio. He was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 31 years, Cheryl Munt, Warner Robins; sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Christina Munt, Warner Robins; Joe and Diane Henry, Bonaire; grandchildren, J.T., Austin, and Allaura; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Terri Munt, Phoenix, AZ; brother-in-law, Dana (Debbie) Hardman, Lake Sinclair; stepfather, Billy Gilmore, Bonaire; devoted friends, Darrell and Sue Loterbauer, Phoenix, AZ; and several loving nieces and nephews.
