Paul Michael Cihak

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Michael Cihak, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, who left this world on Friday, November 17, 2023, at the age of 48.

Born on June 18, 1975, Paul was the son of Louis Cihak and Carolee Hawley Kulis. Throughout his life, Paul exemplified a strong work ethic, dedicating himself to the well-being and happiness of his family. Paul's late brother, Matt Cihak, held a special place in his heart, and their bond was a testament to the strength of family ties. His love was selfless, and he would go above and beyond for those in need. Paul was a volunteer for Habitat of Humanity.

Paul had a passion for fishing that brought him joy. His larger-than-life personality and presence made him a magnetic force in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Paul's infectious sense of humor and his genuine, childlike spirit endeared him to many, creating countless memories filled with laughter and joy.

A skilled craftsman, Paul's hands were capable of creating beautiful pieces of art through his talent in carpentry. His dedication to his work was a testament to his commitment to excellence and creativity.

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Kane and Jase Cihak of Georgia; parents, Louis Cihak of Olympia, Washington, and Carolee Hawley Kulis of Bradenton, Florida; and siblings, Tina Marlow (Danny) of Breeding, Kentucky, Anthony “Tony” Cihak (Wendy) of California, and Leah Hancock (Cory) of Papa, Hungary.

A memorial gathering will be Friday, November 24, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.  A memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
