Paul G. Moore, 88, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 11, 2015.
Paul was born on February 25, 1927, in Cobbtown, Georgia to the late Berry B. and Lee Ester Moore. He was a longtime and faithful member of Central Baptist Church, a member of the Joyner Sunday School Class and served on many committees including Budget Committee, Church Treasurer and the Director of Transportation. Paul was also a member of the American Legions Forty and Eight where he served as National Officer and Chaplain. After serving briefly in the United States Navy, he retired as a fuel supervisor after thirty years of service at Robins Air Force Base.
His memory will forever be treasured by his devoted wife of sixty-six years, Doris L. Moore; daughter Paula J. Moore of Atlanta; son Berry A. "Butch" Moore (Sara) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Travis Moore (Janet), Josh Moore, Tazha Layman (Kevin), Tarah Faiella (Jason) and Teresa Turner (Tony); five great-grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation being held one hour prior to the service. Following the service, Mr. Moore will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests that donations be made in memory of Paul G. Moore to Central Baptist Church 1120 Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
