Paul Lascal Wyatt, 79, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 1, 2011.
Mr. Wyatt was born on February 25, 1931 in Dublin, Georgia. One of the eight original church families, he was a charter member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church and served as Treasurer for over forty years. Paul was an Accountant, retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base after thirty five years of faithful service. He was also a proud Veteran of the United States Army. A tireless community servant, Paul volunteered with AARP for twenty years preparing taxes for senior citizens. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. His beloved wife, Betty Stripling Wyatt, and his parents, Blanton Kendrick Wyatt and Clyde Pope Wyatt, all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Michael Wyatt, Warner Robins; Ken Wyatt (Angela), Sarasota, Florida; grandchildren, Tres Wyatt; Emily Manry and her husband, Ned; Peter Marron; Christina Marron; and Michael Marron; one great grandchild, Chloe Manry; sister, Shirley Wills, Warner Robins; and brother and sister in law, Bennie and Joyce Wyatt, Centerville.
Visitation will be Friday evening, February 4, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at Shirley Hills Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Reverend Andy Cook and Dr. Napp Granade will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Shirley Hills Baptist Church Building Fund, 615 Corder Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31088.
