Pauline Mitchell Coody, 91, entered into rest on Sunday, March 15, 2009.

Ms. Coody was born on August 2, 1917 in Red Level, Alabama. She worked as a Soda Fountain Clerk at Norris Pharmacy. Her club memberships included the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 172, 40/8 Cabane 1145 and VFW Post 6605 Auxiliary. Her husband, Henry J. Coody, and parents, David Mitchell and Edna Hutchison Mitchell, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Janice Darcey (Louie), Byron; son, James Coody (Debra), Warner Robins; step-sons, John Mark Coody (Linda), Fayetteville, and David H. Coody (Betty), Byron; step-daughter, Mary Elizabeth Moulton (Melvin), Lizella; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Sydney Odom officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
