Peggy Ann Woods

Peggy Ann Woods, 73, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2006. Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 2, 2006 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Pinehurst Cemetery located in Dooly County. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The American Cancer Society P.O. Box 1544 Warner Robins, GA 31099-1544.

Mrs. Woods was born on September 15, 1932 in Pinehurst, GA. She was a homemaker who truly enjoyed time spent with her family and playing bingo. Her husband, Jerry Woods and her parents, Richard Gilbert Cooley and Ada Frances Cooley, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Richard “Sonny” Ganas, Warner Robins; Susan (Johnnie) Hamm, Kathleen; Dianne Gunnells, Warner Robins; Carolyn Newberry, Woodstock; Chipper Ganas, Warner Robins; Nancy McMullen, Warner Robins; David (Sandra) Ganas, Byron; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters, Janice Edwards, Unadilla; Molly Hamby, Crossville, TN; brother, Bill Cooley, Byron; and several nieces and nephews.
