Peggy S. West

Kathleen – Peggy S. West, 66, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at her home. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 20, at Cornerstone Baptist Church with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Baptist Church 1618 S. Mrs. West was born in Harlan, KY. A Warner Robins resident for 48 years, she was the co-founder of West Plumbing. She was a devoted member of Cornerstone Baptist Church, where she attended her husband’s Sunday School class. She participated in many aspects of the church, including decorating, coordinating special events, and she started the choir. Her father, Curtis Howard Shoemaker, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, George West, Kathleen; mother, Ruth Tydings Shoemaker, Kathleen; children; Teresa Snowden (Randy), Warner Robins; Sherri Rogers (Steve), Warner Robins; Merri Babbit (Ronnie), Centerville; Jerry West (Kim), Lawrenceville, GA; Kerri Rainey (Shannon), San Antonio, TX; brother, Jack Shoemaker, Lanoir City, TN; sister, Wanda Rains, Sterlington, LA; grandchildren, Joyce, Amanda, Timothy, Austin, Cassie, Hunter, Buddy, Brandi, Brittani, Brianna, Alison; and great-grandchild, Gavin.
