Peggy Stribbling of Warner Robins, Georgia, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at the age of 74. Born on May 26, 1949, in Panacea, Florida, she was the daughter of the late James and Ruby Taylor.
Peggy's life was marked by love and adventure in her 55-year marriage to Charles Stribbling. Together, they explored the world during Charles's military service, creating a lifetime of memories. Upon his retirement from the Army, they settled in Warner Robins.
A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Peggy found joy in the company of her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She treasured every moment spent with them.
Peggy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Ruby Taylor.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Stribbling; children, Jason Stribbling (Sabine) and Latisha Arnold (Ralph); grandchildren, Kristin Stribbling, Sarah Stribbling, Alyssa Arnold, Angelina Stribbling, and Addison Arnold. She is also remembered by her siblings, Lillian Clemons, Buddy Taylor, Merrit Taylor, Donna Taylor, and Delano Taylor; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and several beloved extended family members.
In addition to her family, Peggy shared deep connections with dear friends, George Del Vecchio and Quilla Mehrhoff, whose companionship added richness to her life.
A memorial service celebrating Peggy's life will be held at the Nichols and Revel Cemetery, in Sopchoppy, Florida, on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. A second memorial service will take place at Andersonville National Cemetery on Monday, December 18, 2023, at 2:00 p.m.
