After a brave struggle with illness, Peter Paul "Pete" Harris passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 at the age of 51.
Pete was born on July 23, 1963 in Bitburg, Germany and was of the Protestant faith. He attended school in Warner Robins and was employed as a finish carpenter for Cleghorn Cabinet Company. Pete was an esteemed expert and highly respected in all areas of woodworking. He traveled throughout much of the Southeastern United States and Caribbean plying his trade. Pete was an avid golfer and loved drag racing. He was preceded in death by his father, Col. John C. Harris, USAF (Ret.).
Pete was a devoted and loving father and family man who will truly be missed by his children, family and many friends. The memory of this kind man will forever be cherished by his wife and best friend of 15 years, Anita Gaye Harris of Warner Robins; children, Annie Leigh Folendore (Wes) of Milledgeville, and Robby, Nathan, Zachary and Hunter Harris, all of Warner Robins; mother, Margaret Harris of Peach County; two grandchildren, Briea Harris and Wade Folendore; siblings, John Harris (Connie) of Warner Robins, Thomas Harris (Tina) of Poquoson, Virginia, Mark and Michael Harris of Warner Robins, and Margaret Spivey of Jacksonville, Florida; uncles, David Harris (Celeste) of Georgia, Paul Harris (Hilda) of Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
