Philip Harold Walters, Jr.

Native of Troy, NY and longtime resident of Warner Robins, GA, Philip Harold Walters, Jr., passed away peacefully at home on the afternoon of Friday, December 23, 2022. He was 66 years old.

Born in Troy, NY on September 4, 1956, Philip was born to Shirley Walters and the late Philip Harold Walters, Sr. He retired from the Berlin School District with many years as a bus driver. Philip was an old vehicle connoisseur and enjoyed buying and restoring them in his free time. He was also happy to work on other people’s cars who could not afford to have them fixed. Philip always did whatever he could to help someone in need, whatever the capacity. His servant’s heart and the love he had for his family will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Cathy Ann Walters of Warner Robins; children, Jason Walters (Sueann) of Stephentown, NY and Stephanie Piet of Troy, NY; grandchildren, Pamela Bellamy of Troy, NY, Miranda Smith (Luke) of Petersburgh, NY, and Bianca Walters and Dominic Walters, both of Stephentown, NY; great-grandchildren, Nicolas and Faylynn Bellamy of Troy, NY, Levi Cormier of Stephentown, NY and June Smith of Petersburgh, NY; mother, Shirley Walters; and sister, Diane Bissell of Ballston Lake, NY.
