Phyllis M. Ward

Phyllis M. ''Phylly'' Ward, 84, entered into rest on Sunday, December 15, 2013.

Phyllis was born on May 1, 1929 in Brooklyn, New York. She was a warm, loving, happy and giving person who dedicated many years to being an OB/GYN Registered Nurse. She retired from the medical office of Bruce Siedlecki, MD. Phyllis was an avid supporter of her children's activities and of the Boy and Girl Scouts of America. Some of her enjoyments were music and singing, playing the piano, gardening, crossword puzzles and artwork. Phyllis leaves behind so many that will remember her smiles and laughter that were never in short supply.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Warren C. Ward (Wiganda), Perry, Georgia; Matthew F. Ward (Karen S.), Lawrenceville, Georgia; and Marsha A. Roberts (Andrew), Lizella, Georgia; grandchildren, Khwannapha Tinapim, Kannikar Tinapim, John D. Frizzell, and Jessica L. Frizzell; brother, Russell Cabot, St. Pete, Florida; and her beloved dog, Sam. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Warren Seymour Ward; and parents, Frank Cabot and Mae Schneidmuller Cabot.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Burial will be private. The family will accept flowers. Donations may be given to a nursing scholarship memorial fund to be established in Ms. Ward's memory c/o- Phyllis M. Ward Memorial Scholarship at The Fricks Firm, 466 S. Houston Lake Road, Ste A, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
