Prabhu P. Bakrania passed away on July 5, 2021 at the age of 90.
Born on October 8, 1930 in India, Prabhu was raised in Kenya before moving to England to study architecture. He earned a 5-year degree while in Britain. After earning his degree, Prabhu then traveled the world designing buildings before eventually settling in Warner Robins. He worked as an architect at Robins Air Force Base for many years before his retirement and was a recipient of the Air Force Award for Design Excellence.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maria Koenig Bakrania; daughter, Katherine Anne Bakrania of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; five siblings who live in England; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 10, 2021 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Reverend Jeff Cleghorn will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Prabhu’s memory to CASA of Houston County, 206 Carl Vinson Parkway, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
