Rachel Ann Maddox

Rachel Ann Maddox, 53, entered into rest on Sunday, May 14, 2017.

Rachel was born on July 5, 1963 in Opelika, Alabama and was of the Baptist faith. She was a clothing maker at Playtex who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. In her free time, Rachel loved playing Rummy and UNO, listening to the radio, and being outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Hayes Maddox and Josephine Williams.

Rachel leaves her memory behind with her loving daughters, Jennifer Maddox, Crystal Massey, and Tracy Briley; grandchildren, Emma Belitz, Savannah Lopez, Noah and Noel Massey, Clara Nicole and Haley Lopez, Joyce Ann Maddox, and Chad Anthony Maddox, Jr.; siblings, Julia Maddox and Helen Baysinger; and nieces, Annie, Marie, and Jessica Baysinger.

A memorial gathering will be held at McCullough Funeral Home on Thursday, May 18th from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
