Raul T. Paniagua, 91, entered into rest on Sunday, April 2, 2023.
Raul was born on June 14, 1931, in San Antonio, Texas to the late Braulio and Gregoria Paniagua. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War Conflict. He went on to retire from Robins Air Force Base in Civil Service, after which he’d work as a Houston County Superior Court Bailiff. He was also a standing member of the Warner Robins Pacers. Raul was a loving husband who loved life and his family. In his free time, he was an avid runner who loved to run races and marathons.
In addition to his parents, Raul was preceded in death by his brother, Johnnie Torres Paniagua.
His memory will forever be treasured by his wife, Mary Ann Paniagua; children, Andrew Paniagua (Trudie), Jolie Guerra (Ernest), and Deborah Barnes (Allan); grandchildren, Alexis Guerra and Kelly Anderson; step-grandchildren, Adam Barnes, Paula Taylor, Alana Barnes, and Chris Barnes; along with a host of loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Raul will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Raul Paniagua to Enhabit Hospice at 319 Margie Drive, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
