Warner Robins – Raymond H. Crowder, 83, entered into rest on March 2, 2010.
Mr. Crowder was born on March 20, 1926 in Merigold, Mississippi. He was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church where he was a deacon and a member of the Wings Sunday School Class. He proudly served in the United States Army during World War II; later, he worked for Stuart C. Irby Electric as Manager of Inside sales. His parents, Grady Henry Crowder and Laura McKnight Crowder, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of sixty-one years, Ladosca Gladden Crowder, Warner Robins; children, Michael Crowder (Julie), Columbia, South Carolina and Anica Papizan, Kathleen; grandchildren, Jacob Crowder (Danielle), Joshua, Chase, and Carly Crowder, and Haley and Matthew Papizan; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 4, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Friday, March 5, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Parkway Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to the building fund at Green Acres Baptist Church, 901 Elberta Road, Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.
Visitation for family in Columbia, South Carolina, will be Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at 246 Southlake Road.
