Raymond J. Gonzalez

Raymond J. Gonzalez, 72, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007 after a short illness.

Mr. Gonzalez was born on July 30, 1934 in Newark, NJ. Ray proudly served four years in the United States Navy. He attended Farleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ, where he graduated with a BSEE. After twenty six years in civil service, Ray retired from Robins Air Force as a Systems Engineer. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Centerville.

Survivors include his wife, Fleeta H. Gonzalez, Warner Robins; children, Connie Meredith and her husband Kenny, Karen Bard and family, and Gregg Gonzalez and family, three grandchildren, Andrew Meredith, Matthew Meredith, and Rebecca Meredith.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, in First United Methodist Church of Centerville. The Reverend Jeffrey Alligood and Reverend Steve Grantham will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to First United Methodist Church of Centerville 600 N. Houston Lake Blvd. Centerville, GA 31028.
