Mr. Bryant was born on April 10, 1934 in Macon. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict. He later became the business owner of Bryant Appliance and T.V. Repair and was a member of Crosspoint Baptist Church. His parents, Charles W. Bryant and Sadie Bateman Bryant; and brothers, Harold Bryant, Bowman Bryant, and Edward Bryant preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving and faithful wife of fifty-six years, Carol Joan Bryant, Macon; sons, Michael Raymond Bryant and Danny William Bryant (Betty); grandchildren, James Raymond Bryant, Jeremy Brookes Bryant (Amanda), Jodi Michelle Bryant; great-grandchildren, Skyler Jacob Bryant, Dyer Gage Bryant, Farrah Nikole Bryant and Conner James Bryant; sisters, Betty Ann Spires, Katherine B. McLeod, Centerville; and brother, Hiram Newton Bryant, Lizella.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Mobley Cross officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon GA 31201.
