On the morning of Friday, June 10, 2016, Raymond Woodrow Mills, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was 77 years old.
Raymond was born on April 18, 1939 in Bonaire, Georgia to the late Valeria Hutchens Mills and Raymond Woodrow Mills, Sr. He proudly joined the United States Army where he belonged to the 82nd Airborne and was aide to the Chief of Staff. Raymond retired from Acosta Food Service as a food broker.
On December 8, 1968, Raymond made the beautiful Ann Marie Fiveash his bride, and together, they raised four children to love and know God. He was sincerely faithful to his Lord and was a member of Mikado Baptist Church and faithfully served as an usher. An avid Atlanta Braves fan, he enjoyed watching all sports and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a blessing to everyone who knew him and will be greatly missed.
He leaves his memory behind with his beloved wife of 47 years, Ann Marie Mills of Warner Robins; children, Kim Cooper (Shannon) of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Keith Mills (Tammy) of Macon, Kris Mills (Jessica) of Warner Robins, and Kevin Mills (Jaime) of Macon; grandchildren, Connor, Dacey, Madison, Molly, Skye, Cade, Stella, Jonathan, Ethan, and Kennadi; and siblings, Wayne Mills and Charlotte Mills, both of Warner Robins.
