Rebecca Ward, 65, of Byron, died Monday, November 19 at Houston Medical Center. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 23 at 11:45am at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, FL. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 21, from 7:00 until 9:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins.
Born in McRae, GA, Mrs. Ward was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Ward; and parents, Charlton and Reba Purvis.
She is survived by two daughters, Vickie Anderson Nash; Donna G. Oyler, both of Warner Robins; sons, John Ward, Warner Robins; Steve Williams, LaGrange; sister, Doretha Finch, Warner Robins; brothers, Harold Purvis, Grand Bay, AL; Kelly Purvis, Warner Robins; and Stanley Purvis, Grafton, VA.
McCullough Funeral Home has charge of all arrangements.
