Alfred Eddy, 72, entered into rest on Saturday, August 2, 2014.
Alfred was born on May 27, 1942, in Mingo Junction, Ohio. He retired as a Master Sergeant from the
U. S. Air Force and currently was working civil service with the 78 LRS on Robins Air Force Base. Alfred enjoyed wood working and singing. He was the Sunday school teacher for the Senior Adult Class at the First Church of the Nazarene. Alfred was a licensed minister of the Church of the Nazarene, pastoring in Quitman, Georgia, the middle Georgia area, and in Seneca, South Carolina. His father, the Reverend Hobert Eddy, and his brother, Elmer Eddy, both preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-two years, Connie Eddy, Byron; children, Michael Eugene Eddy (Teresa), Carrolton, Texas; Jerry Allen Eddy (Sharon), Warner Robins; Jennifer Eddy Crever (Jim), Peachtree City, Georgia; mother, Metta Eddy, Scio, Ohio; grandchildren, Eric, Elizabeth, Avery, Eli, and Nathan; brothers, Roy Eddy, Raymond Eddy, Ronald Eddy and Keith Eddy; sisters, Carol Poluston and Judy Visnic; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 6, 2014 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the First Church of the Nazarene with entombment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum with full military honors. The family respectfully suggests memorial donations to First Church of the Nazarene, 300 Lois Drive, Warner Robins, Georgia, 31088.
