Reverend Ouida Joyce Glisson

Reverend Ouida Joyce Malone Glisson, 71, entered into rest on Sunday, October 16, 2011.

Mrs. Glisson was born on January 23, 1940 in Alabama. She worked in Electronics for over thirty years before retiring from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. She was dedicated to serving in the prison ministry. She loved flowers, gardening, family and especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Tearl Carlton Glisson, Sr.; son, Michael Owen Glisson; and parents, O.C. Malone and Martha Foster Malone.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Terry Glisson (Roxanne), Bonaire, Ricky Glisson (Vickie), Macon, Sheila Dale, Kathleen, Timothy Glisson, Bonaire; brothers, James, Bobby, Tommy and Neal Malone; six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Magnolia Park Cemetery.
