Reverend Ruth A. Sparks

Reverend Ruth A. Sparks, 88, entered into rest on Monday, July 19, 2010.

Mrs. Sparks was born on May 27, 1922, in Galloway, West Virginia. She was a Pentecostal minister at Full Gospel Church in Bonaire. Her son, Jim Sparks; and parents, Ezekial Marple and Octavia Whitehair Marple, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband, Reverend Frank E. Sparks; children, Lawrence Sandy (Marilyn), Seaboard, NC, Juanita Cushman (Ronnie), Salem, OH, Ruth Reynolds (Don), Kathleen, GA, Janet Smith (Wayne), Roberta, GA, Frank Sparks, Jr., Crittenton, KY, Roger Dale Sparks (Sharon), Kathleen, GA, Milton Sparks (Connie), Aurora, MO, and Robert Sparks, Kathleen, GA; siblings, Frankie Marple and Garnett Marple, both of Dalton, GA; thirty-four grandchildren; fifty-four great-grandchildren; and fifteen great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 22, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 23, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Frank E. Sparks officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Way, Truth, and Life Pentecostal Church, 107 Highway 96, Bonaire GA 31005 or Heart of Georgia Hospice, 103 Westridge Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
