A beloved Middle Georgia native, Rhianon Andrea Paisley passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2025. She was 38 years old.
Rhianon was born and raised in Kathleen, where she graduated from Perry High School. She was the daughter of Katrin Anne Arthur Wilson and the late Thomas Edward Brummitt. Raised in the Baptist faith, Rhianon’s values of compassion, kindness, and faith guided her throughout her life.
Rhianon worked for the U.S. Census Bureau and was a Junior Runner Up for Miss Tropic Hawaiian. She was known not only for her undeniable beauty but also for her generous spirit and kind heart. Rhianon would give shoes off her feet to anyone in need and also had a gift for writing. She often wrote her own poetry and songs.
With the soul of an artist, Rhianon poured her heart into poetry and created works that touched the lives of those around her. Her creative talents extended beyond her words, as a gifted seamstress she always created beautiful pieces and also spent hours crocheting intricate designs. She could cuss like a sailor, but it was part of the charm that endeared her to so many.
In addition to Rhianon’s father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Esther Bogie.
Left to cherish Rhianon’s memory are her children, Emalie Maddox Brummitt and Joey Allen Brummitt; mother, Katrin Anne Arthur Wilson; and siblings, Brady Allen Brummitt of Kentucky, and Derek Wilson of Indiana.
A memorial service honoring Rhianon will be held at a later date. Rhianon Andrea Paisley will be laid to rest privately.
