Rhonda Kay Lacy

Rhonda Kay Lacy went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.   Kay was born in Valdosta, Georgia on January 8, 1953 to the late Ira C. (Chief) Teagle and Emily G. Teagle.  

Kay was the owner of Lacy’s Formal Wear for twenty years.  Her love and passion for fashion and her giving spirit dressed many beautiful brides. Kay was also a devoted member of Centerpoint Church and the Foundations Life Group. Kay’s legacy will live on with all of her nieces and nephews because of her giving spirit and the time she invested in their lives.

Left to cherish the memory of Kay is her husband of 45 years, Tim Lacy, her sister Becky Domingue (Dave) of Warner Robins, Georgia, her brother Sonny Teagle of Dublin, Georgia, brother-in-law Rusty Lacy (Mary Ann) of Atlanta, Georgia, and a very special family friend Marty Teagle of Warner Robins, Georgia. Kay’s nephew Jason Teagle of Charleston, South Carolina, her niece Melanie Lacy of Atlanta, Georgia, nephew David Domingue (Leilani) of Montgomery, Alabama, niece Brianda Domingue of Nashville, Tennessee, and her great nephews and nieces Alex, Gabrielle, Vincent, Mira, and Tadeo Domingue of  Montgomery, Alabama.

Visitation will take place at McCullough Funeral home on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Immediately following visitation, a service celebrating Kay’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel at McCullough Funeral Home.  Following the service, Kay will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in memory of Kay Lacy, to the Centerpoint Church, Building Fund, 2440 GA 127, Kathleen, GA 31047, the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia, 6601 Zebulon Road, Macon, GA 31220, or the charity of your choice.
