Richard Alan Dudley of Warner Robins passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the age of 58.
Alan was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on March 23, 1964. He was known by everyone who met him for his joy of life. His favorite thing to do was to make people laugh, which he did often. In his spare time he could be found refinishing furniture and working in the yard with his plants. Alan also had a soft spot for animals, especially his beloved cat, Thomas.
Alan was preceded in death by his birth parents, Avenell Kesterson and Hartsel H. Jarvis; brothers, Gary E. Jarvis and Jack L. Jarvis; and sister, Linda L. Jarvis.
His memory will forever be treasured by his mother, Sandra Ragsdale; fathers, Giles Ragsdale and Peyton J. Dudley; sisters, Pamela S. Jarvis, Betty J. Jarvis, Rebecca A. Anderson, Elizabeth P. Postelwaite, Julia R. Dudley, and Courtney B. Dudley; brothers, Wayne R. Jarvis (Janet), Mike Jarvis (Karen), and Bill R. Jarvis (Gaye); many nieces and nephews and special friend, Donna Mauro.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2022 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest privately.
