Richard C. Powell, Jr.

Richard C. Powell, Jr., 66, died Monday, February 18 at his residence. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 21 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at 203 Pineview Drive, Warner Robins, after the committal service.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Trinity Baptist Church, 505 Houston Lake Blvd., Centerville, GA 31028.

Mr. Powell was born in Easely, SC. He was retired from the United States Air Force as a Tech Sergeant and he was a veteran of both the Vietnam War and the Korean Conflict. He had been self-employed in the real estate business, in both sales and rentals, and had retired. After dropping out of high school, Mr. Powell later received his G.E.D. and went on to earn an Associates Degree in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, 3 children, 3 granddaughters, 1 brother, 2 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
