Richard Earle Dubose, Sr.

Richard Earle DuBose, Sr., 76, entered into rest on Wednesday, September 29, 2010.

Mr. DuBose was born on August 26, 1934 in Macon. With great pride and honor he served his country in the United States Army. He later retired from Robins Air Force Base in civil service as an Item Manager. Green Acres Baptist Church was his church home. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Winston H. DuBose, Jr., and James "Jimmy" DuBose; parents, Winston H. DuBose, Sr., and Sarah Groce DuBose.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of fifty-five years, Joyce Atwell DuBose; children, Earle DuBose, Jr., (Vicki), Kathleen, Trish DuBose-Herring, Warner Robins, and Glenda DuBose Taylor, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Richard DuBose III, Ashley Bryant, Nathanael DuBose, Melissa Martucci, Joel Taylor and Nicolas Herring; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, October 1, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2010 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Pastor Johnny Ellison officiating. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Green Acres Baptist Church, marked for TT&T, 901 Elberta Road, Warner Robins GA 31093, or the donor's favorite charity.
