Richard H. Stuart, 80, of Warner Robins, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 24th, 2009. He was born on September 10, 1929, in Ohio. A U. S. Army veteran, he participated in the Korean Conflict and was awarded the Purple Heart. He worked for United Board & Carton and subsequently retired from Landmark Farm Bureau in Urbana, Ohio. Richard enjoyed fishing, gardening, music, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by daughter, Lisa Fowler, two brothers and a sister.

Treasuring his memory are his wife, Marjorie; sister, Celia Gossard; daughters, Vinnie Osborne (James), and Melonie Jumper, Ohio; sons, David Shultz (Dorothy), Georgia, and Ken Shultz (Ann), Missouri; daughters, Patricia Scarlata and Diane Childress (Dave), Georgia; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 26, 2009, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m .at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be in Urbana, Ohio at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2009, in the chapel of Walter Schoedinger Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 804 Cherry Street, Suite A, Macon GA 31201.
